Search for a video agency in London and you will find everything from one-person studios to full production houses. Most of them can make a good video. The real question is whether they can make the right one for you, on your timeline and your budget.
1. Who will actually work on my project?
Ask whether the person you brief is the person who edits. Smaller studios often give you more direct contact and faster changes.
2. Do you film, generate with AI, or both?
For many briefs today the honest answer is a mix. An agency that only knows one method will push it whether it suits you or not.
3. Can I see work like mine?
Ask for examples in your format, such as a 30 second commercial, a product film, UGC ads or an explainer, not just a showreel.
4. What exactly is included?
Script, revisions, music licensing, captions, cutdowns and final files. Fixed starting prices make agencies much easier to compare.
5. How long until the first cut?
Ask for the time to a first cut, not only to final delivery. With an AI-assisted workflow, a first cut in three to seven days is realistic.
6. Who owns the files?
You should own the approved files and be able to run them anywhere online. Check how the music and any AI-generated elements are licensed.
7. How do you handle AI?
A trustworthy studio tells you where AI is used, works with commercially licensed tools, and never clones a real face or voice without written consent.
